The Project
Natural materials were an important requirement when creating this contemporary kitchen as well as light tones for a bright and airy entertaining space. Blandford tumbled limestone was used throughout the kitchen, utility and cloakroom which flow together effortlessly. Blandford is a light, creamy stone which works wonderfully with the bare wood beams within the vaulted ceiling.
For added interest, Mizu marble scallop mosaics were chosen for use as splashbacks within the kitchen and the WC - a pretty touch that adds some cooler contrast and is very effective in the smaller areas.
To create a seamless flow from indoors to outside, Buscot Etched limestone was chosen for its durability and similar colour tones and works beautifully on the terrace and outdoor entertaining areas.
