A cut sample is a small version (roughly 10x10cm) of a full-sized tile, representing the very same colour, texture, material and finish. Order up to six of these, free of charge.

Also part of our six complimentary sample service, cut mosaic samples are a bitesize version of a full mosaic sheet, mounted onto cardboard.
Full Tile Sample
For when you want to see the whole picture, you can purchase any of our tiles to better appreciate their scale, colour and texture. This can be particularly helpful if considering a patterned tile.
30 x 40cm Tile Sample
Natural and porcelain stone tiles come with veins, fossils and tonal differences. Purchasing a large format 30 x 40cm sample allows you to appreciate those before your project begins.
Grouted Tile Boards
For larger projects, we are happy to produce grouted tile boards to help visualise your chosen tile in situ and on a larger scale.

How do I order a sample?
To order a sample, simply visit the product page of your chosen tile or natural stone product, and select which type of sample you would like to receive.
What is a cut tile sample?
A cut tile sample is a small piece of a full sized tile, that represents the colour, texture, material and finish of the tile, so you can see how it may look in your home. Cut tile sample sizes can vary per product, but are roughly 10 x 10cm.
How many tile samples can I order?
The amount of samples you can order varies depending on the type of sample you are looking to purchase.
You can purchase one cut tile sample per product, on up to a maximum of six different product variations.
You can purchase four full tile samples per product, on as many different product variations as you wish.
You can purchase three 30 x 40cm samples, on as many different product variations as you wish.
How long do samples take to be delivered?
Sample deliveries are typically within 3 – 5 working days dependent on stock available at the time. If you have not received after this time, please contact us on email@example.com with your order number.
Do the samples come sealed?
All of our natural stone, marble and encaustic tile samples will come already sealed with Stone Essentials Stain Block Sealant. This is so that you can see how the final product will actually appear.
Our terracotta tile samples are sealed with Stone Essentials Stone Shield Sealant.
Should I buy a cut tile sample or a full tile sample?
This is a personal preference. If you are just wanting to sense check the colour of a tile, or even the texture and material, then a cut tile sample may suffice. However, if you are wanting to see a tiles full pattern, or how it might appear in different lights around a room, we would recommend purchasing a full tile sample.
Is the sample representative of current stock?
Tiles and natural stone can vary in shade and size from batch to batch, due to production methods or glazes, and so a sample may not be 100% the same as the final product, although we do try our best to reduce this to a minimum.
Can I view your samples and products in a showroom?

Should an order be placed on receiving just a sample and not viewing an actual display in a showroom?
Many of our clients place an order after receiving a sample. Should you wish to view an actual display or panel, you can find a showroom here. Please note, not all of our products will be on display at any given time, so we would recommend calling your most local showroom ahead of visiting to discuss.
Do you accept returns and refunds on samples?
Unfortunately we do not accept returns and refunds on any of our samples.
