Where tradition meets contemporary.
In this beautiful Lewes home, modern colour makes a splash while complementing timeless neutral schemes.
Working with GJ Gowing, Artisans of Devizes supplied a mixture of stone and decorative tiles for the new-build family home.
We worked with the owners to create a bespoke floor for the main hall. The owners wanted a floor which had character while having a timeless appeal. We provided Buscot Velvet with an aged edge, 60×60 centimetre tiles cut to pentagons, with black slate cabochons, whereas in the utility, the owners wanted to experiment with colour and pattern, opting for the cheerful multi-coloured Patchwork Encaustic tiles.
For the external terrace, we supplied 600 square metres of Wraxall limestone and matching coping, with a bullnose edge, for a time-worn look.
